Our Team
The Guyana Medical Relief is 100% composed of devoted volunteers who serve as members of the Operating committee and the Board of Directors. The Operating Committee members liaison with the hospitals, provide project proposals for discovered needs, and approves annual programs and initiatives if submitted proposals follow guidelines of need within GMR’s mission.
Our dedicated supporters are the backbone of our organization as they donate funds, attend fundraising events, donate items for auction, and raise funds through ticket sales and sponsorship. Without them, we would have a limited operating income.

Sub-Committees
Sub-Committees liaison with and assist specific Hospitals and Clinics to help identify their needs and propose projects for GMR Committee approval. They also host events to raise funds to support shipments to and projects for their hospitals, thus allowing the General Fund to be used to address other medical needs and health facilities without a Sub- committee. The current active Sub-Committees are as follow:
