Dr. Keith Mootoo… “Providing Quality Health Care since 1982”
Keith Mootoo was born in the former British Guiana in 1951. With hard work and determination he left British Guiana at the young age of 15 in pursuit of his dream, and moved to Liverpool, England to continue his education. In England he attended medical school at the University of London where he studied hard and graduated at the age of 22 with a degree in pre-med in biochemistry, with honors.
He then moved to New York to complete his postgraduate work and residency at New York University, and later, his fellowship at State University New York in Stony Brook Long Island. In 1981 he accomplished his dream of becoming a doctor and moved to Los Angeles to teach at the University of California Irvine for one year.
In 1982 he devoted himself to building a reputable primary practice group as well as a Dialysis center in the city of Cudahy, and since that time he has continued to provide quality health care to the Greater Los Angeles Area.
